Nearly 3 billion birds have disappeared from North America in the last 50 years – “a staggering loss that suggests the very fabric of North America’s ecosystem is unraveling,” reports the esteemed Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
Amy Faust’s brilliant pin aims to highlight this crisis and invite deeper conversations about sustainability. In lieu of gemstones, Amy repurposes bits of glass and porcelain shards, encased in recycled sterling silver.
